I love it when I am out walking or on a bike ride and stumble upon a garage sale in my neighborhood. The feeling of unknown treasures or undiscovered gems can be motivation enough to stop and look to see what I can find.
I have a sense of the same feeling when I think about what will be my mission to Africa this year. What unknown discoveries of life will I find out there. The difference is, I will be actively participating in helping lives and supporting those in desperate need.
And as we move towards my trip this June, I am trying to raise the funds to go and one of the ways I am trying to raise funds is through selling items at a garage sale.
Do you have anything that you don’t want/need that I may come and take off your hands to sell at my garage sale fundraiser?
If you live in Orange County (or know of someone), I can pick up whatever you can give (I mean ANYTHING!!!). All proceeds will go towards paying for my mission to Africa. We’ll be having said garage sale early February, so please let me know by January 24th, if possible.
If interested, please send me an email or give me a call at (949) 272-5119 and let me know if you can help. Alternatively, If you would like to donate to my trip,

I was invited to a 17-day missions trip (June 21 to July 8, 2012) to Uganda and Kenya to support HIV/AIDS widows and orphans.
As you probably know, AIDS has devastated much of the world with over 34 million people infected. When you add to that their family, friends, and neighbors, hundreds of millions of people are affected by this pandemic. Add to this the innocent children left behind and the stigma that goes with his life, over 12 million broken-hearted children have become AIDS orphans.
He Intends Victory is an international Christian ministry working in 21 countries of the world and dedicated to providing education, encouragement, and support for those infected and affected by this disease, all in the name of Jesus Christ. HIV owns or has built homes for women and children with AIDS in Malaysia, Uganda, and Thailand. HIV also provides medicines, food, agricultural equipment, farm animals, mosquito nets, educational material and more. While on this 17-day missions trip, we will be ministering to AIDS widows, orphans, and many who are infected and affected by HIV. In fact, last summers missions trip touched the lives of over 4,890 people!
Would you please consider supporting me on this trip today?
I need to raise $2,500 in 90 days to make this trip happen. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation which will go towards the cost of travel and supplies. No frills here.
Thank you in advance for partnering with me!
